MOXIE Book Club: Finding the Magic in Middle School (2/25, 7PM)

We're exploring ways to engage our community in conversations about the future of learning and life at MOXIE. This month, Beth is hosting our first book club (open to anyone, in Maine and beyond!) on Finding the Magic In Middle School, written by Chris Balme. This is a book that explores the special time that is adolescence, and how parents and educators can ensure school is a place where kids truly learn to be themselves around others. 

In Chris's words: "They're not children anymore. We get to witness them, like some slow-motion, mid-air video, as they leap into adulthood. This is the promise of middle school: a magical time of discovering who you are, and what you can do, in the social world blooming around you. Let's learn how to tap into this magic."
